Kurzbeschreibung:

The focus of the ?Roots Reflected? multilateral project is to investigate and share the heritage of the young people who attend three secondary schools one from Germany, Netherlands and Wales. Building on relationships previously established through an INDIE diversity project, teachers across a wide range of subjects and young people will develop portfolios or artistic realisations which will be shared with their peers, the partner schools and their local communities. Each school will establish a working party of young leaders and staff who will coordinate a competition. The Young leaders will have the opportunity to attend a multilateral training event to develop leadership skills. Competition winners and young leaders from all the schools will meet in Luxembourg to share their ?Roots reflected? portfolios, artefacts, music, drama, cuisine and art work. The project will culminate with a ?Roving Exhibition? where the portfolios, artefacts DVDs of the presentations will visit each of the schools and be exhibited both within the school and the community. It is intended that this project will lead to greater understanding and tolerance of the heritage of the different communities that make up the Europe we live in today.
